COURSE OUTLINE (tentative)

The purpose of this course is to introduce the basic concepts and techniques in the field of video processing and video coding. This course will be given in seminar setting with the grade derived from class research paper presentations and research project and along with quizzes and class participation. Prerequisites for this class includes graduate standing, some background in image manipulation (or permission of the instructor) and interest in video processing topics.
