Over the years, I've created several small applications that might be useful to other people. Many of them have been lost due to carelessness, but not anymore! I hereby name this web page my personal dustbin. It is on this page that I will store the various things I create. I'll try to only include things that are functional (and maybe even work), but I won't make any promises. Use the applications below at your own risk.

QSize Image Resizer
This is a program that integrates with the windows shell, so that you can right click on images and resize them. You can even resize multiple images at once by ctrl-clicking, or shift-selecting. It's simple to use, and I've even made an installer for it.

Gravinoid
Gravinoid is a 3d game development project. Like so many other games of its' genre, it was a learning tool for Geoff and I. Even so, I think it's quite fun and I still like to mess around with it every now and then. The big difference between this game and other breakout style games, is that the velocity of the mouse is taken into account, and not just where the ball hits. So the faster you move the mouse, the harder you hit the ball.

Unfortunately, we never "finished" the game. There are outstanding bugs, and polish issues that never received attention. Even worse, we appear to have lost a decent amount of the newer code, so some of the improvements we did make have disappeared. One of the biggest known issues is that the game will not render properly on low-end video cards. I keep thinking that I will go back and fix some of these issues, but we have moved onto a new game and fixing up Gravinoid is really second priority.

BossKey
This is a quick and dirty mfc app that looks for a window with "World of Warcraft" in the title. If such a window exists, a keypress is sent to it every couple of minutes. For those of you who play WoW, you will recognize this as a reputation farming tool. I created it because I didn't want to use an existing tool that Blizzard might be aware of. Now that I no longer play WoW, I am putting here for archival purposes, and for anyone who might want to use it. It is called BossKey in honor of a PC game feature that was common in the 80s. Essentially, there was a hotkey in several games that would instantly display an image of a spreadsheet, or other "work" related program.
